Amanda Lehrer, LMSW
Therapist & Recovery Specialist

Amanda Lehrer brings over 25 years of clinical expertise, comprehensive understanding of therapeutic resources and much compassion for those struggling with behavioral health concerns. Her approach is psychodynamic and relational- believing that the relationship between the therapist and client is one of most important aspects of psychotherapy. Amanda believes that all experiences in life influences and shape where they are today. She also views this as the current state and not necessarily a lifetime trait. She works from a strength based approach and through a trauma- informed lens. Amanda is also a certified Ketamine practitioner and leans on an integrative harm reduction model, understanding that all clients have unique needs and challenges.

She is gifted in building alignment and rapport with clients, so they become partners in their treatment. Amanda also creates opportunities for the family to engage in that partnership, so there is a healthy outcome for every member of the family system. She also believes we all need a sense of community and connection to help us grow and thrive. Amanda loves working with a variety of people and issues, including: LGBTQIA, substance misuse, adolescence, families experiencing psychological and related behavioral issues, among others. She not only carries this forward in her day-to-day work, but she makes sure to share this energy and enthusiasm with her four children.
