Dara Faden, PA-C, LMSW
Therapist & Recovery Specialist

Dara Faden is a board-certified Physician Assistant and LMSW. She has spent the last 12 years practicing as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, specializing in the treatment of mental health. Dara noticed there was a lack of mental health providers in the community treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), which spurred her to go back to obtain her Master's in Social Work. Her passion lies in the treatment of OCD.
Dara holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester with high honors in Psychology, a master's degree from The George Washington University in Physician Assistant Studies, a Doctorate in Health Sciences from NOVA Southeastern University, and an LMSW from Simmons University.
Dara works exclusively with clients seeking OCD treatment. She has seen great success with clients using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and other anxiety disorders. Dara has focused her social work studies on the treatment of OCD and spent the past year completing a highly focused internship in the treatment of OCD. She has been trained in modalities such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She strongly believes in a client-centered approach and building a strong relationship with her clients. She tries to incorporate humor into therapy when appropriate. In her spare time, Dara enjoys traveling the globe and being out in nature with her husband and two Goldendoodles.
