Suzanne Ceresko, LMSW

Suzanne Ceresko completed her master’s degree in social work at New York University (NYU) and earned her master’s in public health at the University of Washington Seattle. Since graduating from NYU, she has worked with veterans and in community mental health. She has completed additional training in EMDR, and psychodynamic therapy. She also holds a certificate in integrative trauma studies.

 

Prior to entering the field of mental health, Suzanne worked in international public health for over a decade with the organization Doctor Without Borders. She led diverse programs including projects in refugee camps and conflict-settings in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East before working at the organization’s New York headquarters. In New York she joined the organization’s executive leadership team. She holds a coach/mentor foundation level accreditation from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

 

Suzanne has a particular interest in helping individuals recover from trauma and adversity. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy, helping clients feel empowered, capable, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. She works with adults of all ages, specializing in trauma, PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-understanding, meaning-making, and mindfulness. Suzanne is honored to work with clients in their journey toward greater self-knowledge and wellbeing.
