What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy (also known as individual therapy or talk therapy) is treatment that involves one-on-one sessions between an individual and a mental health professional. During these sessions, individuals will work with their MHRS therapist to address a range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns. Psychotherapy can be used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including
depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, and trauma-related disorders.
With psychotherapy, we can help you better understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that you can develop new coping strategies and ways of thinking that improve your overall well-being. Explore modalities here.
