Groups
MHRS Groups provide a supportive environment where individuals can share experiences and feel less isolated. Groups foster a sense of belonging and offer encouragement from both the therapist and peers. MHRS Groups require an 8 week committment in order to enhance the experience of all participants and provide a setting that leads to lasting improvement in social skills, accountability, and self-esteem.

MHRS is offering an experiential yoga course to expand somatic processing opportunities. The 8-week Emotions and Embodiment course would be appropriate for those who feel overwhelmed and out of control when it comes to feeling and processing emotions. If you find yourself using food, substances or other painful coping strategies, or feeling cut off from your body, this group is for you!
This 8 week course is designed to help participants find freedom around challenging emotions in mind and body. Each of the 8 sessions will be split into psychoeducation/ processing and experiential yoga to allow for the ultimate mind/ body integration. The group will be facilitated by a trauma-informed Registered Dietitian/Certified Yoga Teacher and a Licensed Therapist and will explore themes of shame, helplessness, happiness, anxiety, anger, grief and ultimately, embodiment.
