Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find a list of commonly asked questions regarding MHRS and our services. If you do not see your question listed, please feel free to contact us.

Can clients receiving EDRS services participate in MHRS services, or switch over to them fully?

Absolutely. The intention behind MHRS was to introduce additional services to our offerings to ensure our clients have access to the breadth of care they need. This means clients can engage in both service offerings at once, or switch from one to the other if more clinically appropriate. Current clients in either EDRS or MHRS who feel they may benefit from the other set of services can bring this up to their provider who will then put them in touch with the appropriate contact.

Do you take insurance?

Please contact us to discuss fee structure and payment options.

Will you speak to my outpatient team?

Yes! We collaborate weekly or as needed with your team. We will provide them with a weekly summary of your sessions and progress. When needed we will meet with you and your team together.

I’m in IOP or PHP, can I still work with you?

Yes! We regularly work with clients outside program hours to help prevent the need to go to a higher level of care.

Can I work with you if I am already working with a therapist or team?

Yes, we provide treatment and wraparound support as a bridge to help you maintain your recovery in between sessions with your team.

Where are you located?

We are currently available in New York and will be expanding virtually soon.

Are any services held in an office?

Services are held in your community: home, work, school, and office.
**In New York, we have in-office therapy and MHRS services.

How often will I work with MHRS?

The structure of your services or program varies greatly and depends on what your outpatient team recommends. We have clients who work with us once a week and clients who work with us multiple times a day.

What is Recovery Coaching?

Therapeutic Coaching entails a combination of behavioral interventions, therapeutic exposures, skills building, and accountability. Our therapeutic coaching services are tailored to a client’s individual needs.

How will I know which modality to pick for psychotherapy?

During the intake process, we will collaborate to get know your unique needs and make recommendations for services based on the issues you’d like to address. Our intake coordinator will be able to answer any questions about particular modalities so we can ensure the right fit in your care.
