Hallie Hurwitz is a licensed social worker who earned her master’s degree from the Silver School of Social Work at New York University. She is committed to providing quality, compassionate, person-centered care and specializes in treating young adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress.

Hallie's experience in the field of social work is diverse, and includes working with high-risk students, adults experiencing psychosis, and clients in need of support with daily living skills. She has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and is adept at serving clients with varying levels of need, at any point in their mental health journey. Hallie's education also includes a focus in disability studies and speech and hearing, further enriching her understanding of the diverse needs among her clients.
Throughout Hallie's therapeutic work with clients, she incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and psychodynamic therapy. She also incorporates basic EMDR techniques into her work with clients when supportive.
