Kendall Kolenik, LMSW
Therapist & Coach
Kendall works with adults recovering from mal-adaptive coping mechanisms and dysfunctional patterns in relationships and in daily living. Additionally, she specializes in helping those in recovery from addiction/alcoholism, disordered eating, dysfunctional family systems and those with attachment wounds. Kendall is also a certified yoga instructor which has helped guide her therapeutic practice. She believes in our bodies natural ability to heal and the strength that comes from reconnecting. Kendall believes a core outcome of therapy is finding our way back to self and back to trust. Therapy can be the greatest “home-coming” of one’s life. Kendall utilizes a trauma informed lens while drawing from; Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic therapy, Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) and more. Yet, she mainly uses an eclectic approach in order to meet the client's individual needs.
Kendall also is available for executive functioning/skills coaching where her and the client can tackle how to better accomplish tasks, goals and daily activities. This is helpful for those who have trouble with time management, task initiation, motivation and follow through.
