Marisol is a licensed Social Worker who specializes in mental health and wellness. She obtained her Master's of Social Work at the University of Southern California Suzanne Dwoarak-peck School of Social Work, and started her career in California, which allowed her to work with individuals from all backgrounds. She has gained clinical experience working in dual diagnosis treatment centers, long-term mental health treatment centers and private practice. She is trained in a variety of evidenced based practices, such as (DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (ERP Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, and (I-CBT) Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Marisol has recently focused on providing therapy services to individuals who struggle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Additionally, she works with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, trauma, PTSD, BPD, and substance use disorders. She also enjoys coaching individuals who struggle with activities of daily living, and is passionate about the need for strengths-based approaches that focus on self-determination and positive regard.

Marisol believes that in order for an individual to begin their healing journey, they must feel seen, validated, and connected. Given her personal journey with mental health, she decided that she wanted to help those in search of relief and pass on the healing tools that improve our quality of life. While she does not promise to be a "healer," Marisol aims to help her clients discover ways in which they can become their own healer.
